Devotees traveling from Bangalore, Chennai, or other southern parts usually reach Kadapa Railway Station. From Kadapa, Ahobilam is about 110 KM away. You must first travel to Allagadda and then take a local bus or auto to Ahobilam.

Devotees traveling from Hyderabad, Maharashtra, or North AP usually reach Nandyal Railway Station. From Nandyal, Ahobilam is about 65 KM away. You need to catch a bus to Allagadda and change to a local Ahobilam bus.

To avoid changing multiple buses with luggage, we recommend booking a direct taxi from Nandyal station to your Ahobilam cottage.

Allagadda is the main connecting point for Ahobilam. From the Allagadda Old Bus Stand, you can find direct Palle Velugu (APSRTC) buses to Lower Ahobilam.

The journey from Lower Ahobilam to Upper Ahobilam is an 8 KM drive through a scenic ghat road. APSRTC buses operate on this route with very limited frequency.

If you miss the RTC bus, you can easily hire local sharing autos available at Lower Ahobilam. This 8 KM ride offers a beautiful and thrilling experience through the dense Nallamala forest.
