The trek to Ugra Stambham commences from Upper Ahobilam. This is not just a journey; it is an adventure through the heart of the Nallamala forest. Lower Ahobilam: 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Upper Ahobilam: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Nearest railway stations are Nandyal (66 km) and Kurnool (150 km). Direct RTC buses are available from Nandyal and Allagadda.
Road goes up to Upper Ahobilam temple. But for Jwala Narasimha, you need to trek 2km (1000 steps). Doli services are available.
